KYDM: Bekenawei, Sheriff, Pondi, Others to Grace Comr. Laide-led Youth Executive Swearing-in Ceremony Nov. 15

The Kokodiagbene Youth Development Movement, KYDM, the umbrella body of youths in Kokodiagbene community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, is set to swear-in its newly elected youth president, Comrade Blessing Laide, and other executive members, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

The swearing-in ceremony which is chaired by Engr. Lelegha Timiyan, with Chief Paul Ukuli and Deaconess Ati Odafe as the Father and the Mother of the Day, respectively, is billed to hold 4pm in the community town hall.

Expected at the ceremony are special guests of honour that include the chairman of Kokodiagbene community, Comr. Pedro Bekenawei; a former chairman of Kokodiagbene and the National Coordinator of CEPEJ, Chief (Comr.) Sheriff Mulade; and other prominent leaders such as Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan (JP), Chief Felix Eguare, Chief (Mrs.) Ebidoumene Ojogun, Hon. Godfrey Pondi, Hon. Kelvin Ojogun (Councilor representing Kokodiagbene and Benikrukru), Hon. Akpodikumor Oturubo, Comr. City Ojowuru.

Others are Engr. Timi Oworo, Hon. Uyadongha Powede, Engr. Johnson Powede, Engr. Faith Mamamu, Hon. Jimoh Keniye, Elder Sylvester Ari, Comr. Kelvin Igere, Comr. Ben Mamamu, Comr. Shadrack Otuaro, Hon. Shadrach Ebikeme, Hon. Wilfred Emiko, Mrs. Preye Keniye, Hon. Collins Oturubo, Comr. Ebipade Timiyan, Comr. Superior Adurumokumor, Comr. Solomon Keniye, Elder Kemeseiyefa Ari, Comr. Ark Selegha, among other dignitaries.

Music entertainment is to be supplied by Chief Kingsley Takemebo and his Izon band.

The KYDM newly-elected executive members were elected on Thursday, September 14, 2023, and will be sworn-in to serve a tenure of three years.
