An aspirant for the position of Provost of the Kokodiagbene Youth Development Movement (KYDM), Comrade Marvelous Igere, has officially declared his ambition, promising to promote discipline, unity and collective progress among members of the youth body, while seeking support from members of the Movement in the oil-rich Kokodiagbene Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West council area of Delta State.

Presenting his vision to members of the movement, the Provost hopeful said his aspiration is driven by a strong desire to contribute to the continued growth, stability and development of KYDM through selfless service and responsible leadership.

Comrade Igere stated that if elected, his administration would be guided by the core values of Unity, Service and Progress, which he described as the pillars for building a stronger and more effective youth organisation.

According to him, unity remains essential for sustaining peace and fostering cooperation among members, stressing that every youth should be given a sense of belonging irrespective of background or affiliation.

He further pledged to uphold the dignity and discipline of the movement by working closely with the President, executive members and all stakeholders to ensure orderliness during meetings, programmes and other official activities of the association.

The aspirant also assured members of his commitment to rendering dedicated service, promoting mutual respect and encouraging active participation of youths in initiatives that would enhance the development of Kokodiagbene Community.

On progress, Comrade Igere said he would support programmes and policies that promote youth empowerment, leadership development and community advancement, while ensuring that the Provost office remains a symbol of fairness, integrity and accountability.

"I am committed to serving with humility, promoting unity among our members and working tirelessly for the progress of KYDM. Together, we can build a disciplined, peaceful and vibrant youth movement that will continue to make Kokodiagbene proud," he said.

Comrade Igere appealed to delegates and members of the KYDM to support his aspiration and entrust him with the mandate to serve as Provost, assuring them of purposeful leadership dedicated to the unity, service and overall progress of the youth body.
