KYDC: Ituebi-led Eleco concludes screening, calls on stakeholders to mobilise for election May 2

The Kunukunuma Youth Development Council Electoral Committee (KYDC Eleco) in Kunukunuma Federated Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West council area of Delta State, chaired by Comrade Onimide Aruwei Ituebi-led has concluded its screening exercise for aspirants vying for various positions in the youth body.

Other executives of the KYDC Electoral Committee in attendance are the secretary, Mr. Kelvin Ikpeji, and members Comr. Peter Ofoghan, Minister Micheal Erekebina, Mrs. Gloria Bebedonghan Daniel, Comr. Blessing Paymaster, and Mr. Samson Olotu.

The Ituebi-led Eleco described the screening exercise as "very peaceful and well coordinated" by his team of electoral officers, and assured that the election process will be transparent, free and fair.

"To God be the glory, with a slight readjustment of the electoral calendar, we have officially and successfully conducted the screening exercise for aspirants seeking to occupy offices in the KYDC leadership.

"So far, the exercise was very peaceful and well coordinated. We are dedicated to conduct one of the best, if not the best, of youth election in Kunukunuama Federated Community and we reassure all contestants and stakeholders of our determination to achieve that," said the Eleco Chairman, Ituebi.

He therefore called on all stakeholders in the community, especially the youths, to mobilise massively for the forthcoming election to decide the next leadership of the community's youth council.

"We are calling on all sons and daughters of Kunukunuma Federated Community, the KYDC youths, to participate in our forthcoming youth general election that is scheduled to hold on the 2nd of May 2026. Let the youths come exercise their civic responsibility," the chairman urged.
