Youth leader in Kunukunuma Federated Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Mr. Ikpeji Kelvin, has been appointed, alongside three other members, as the Chairman of Kunukunuma Youth Development Council (KYDC) Inauguration Committee, with the charge to preside over the inauguration ceremony of the newly-elected executives of the community youth body.

Other members of the KYDC inauguration committee that were appointed are Mr Isaac Bebenimibo as Secretary, Mr Ben Benikurukuru and Mr Wisdom Ikenya as members.

According to Mr. Kelvin, who served as Secretary of the KYDC Electoral Committee, revealed that the recently elected youth executives will be sworn into office on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

The KYDC Inauguration Committee Chairman also used the opportunity, on behalf of other committee members, to appreciate stakeholders for the opportunity given them to serve, as well as appeal for cooperation in order to succeed in their task.

He said, "I sincerely appreciate all stakeholders, leaders, and youths for the confidence repose in me through my appointment as Chairman of the Inauguration Committee.

"This opportunity to serve is deeply appreciated, and I do not take the trust and responsibility given to me for granted. With unity, dedication, and cooperation from everyone, I believe we will successfully deliver a peaceful, organized, and memorable inauguration ceremony," he pledged.

The Chairman also called on committee members and all sons and daughters of Kunukunuma Federated Community to join hands together for the purpose of uplifting the riverine community.

"I humbly call on all members of the committee and the entire community to work together in the spirit of love, understanding, and progress as we move forward.

"Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and belief in our collective vision," he added.

The newly-elected KYDC executives that were declared winners by the Comrade Onimide Aruwei Ituebi-led KYDC Eleco and are to be sworn into office on May 26, are Comr. Timinimi Frank Oroyeipade (President), Tortor Daniel Kitonia (Vice President), Toboebika William Braye (General Secretary), Abai John Okosu (Public Relations Officer, P.R.O), Agberetamu Tare Bossman (Assistant Secretary), Aruwei Bibo (Financial Secretary), Aruwei Ebiyaikpo-emi Suzzy (Treasurer), and Ebipade Smart Oyile  (Provost).
