On behalf of the good people of Kokodiagbene community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, the members of the planning committee of the just concluded swearing-in and inauguration ceremony of Kokodiagbene Executive Council, use this medium to offer their appreciation as follows:

Firstly, we salute our traditional father, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, for His Majesty's support through prayers and godly counsels, as well as for his presence at the ceremony through the Gbaramatu Kingdom Traditional Council of Chiefs as led by the Tonwei of the kingdom, High Chief Dr. Nelson Ogelegbanwei JP, who also represented the chairman of the occasion, the Fiyewei of the kingdom, High Chief Amb. Dr. Godspower Gbenekama JP, who was unavoidably absent. Your Majesty, we thank you and applaud your peaceful reign that has continued to usher in development and growth to the kingdom.

Secondly, we specially thank our foremost leader, a man who believes in action than words, a silent executioner and a boisterous exemplary leader, the Izon Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation, High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, for his massive support and contributions toward the success of the ceremony. We appreciate and hold you in high esteem.

Thirdly, we salute all of our amiable guests and stakeholders within and outside the kingdom for honouring our special invitation to grace another historic milestone in Kokodiagbene community. Your presence made the ceremony more colourful and we deeply appreciate the valuable time spent with us despite your tight schedules as you joined in the celebration of progress.

Fourthly, we thank the Gbaramatu Lawyers Association for playing their role in the ceremony towards advancing the community's growth, and also appreciate the various chairmen from other communities as led by the Chairman of all Chairmen, Hon. Godwin Febaide, as well as other youth bodies who availed us with their presence.

Fiftly, we thank the Kokodiagbene elders and chiefs for their support and guidance spanning the pre-election and the election phase, that finally culminated into the swearing-in and inauguration ceremony. Without your contributions the ceremony would not have been feasible. We say thank you.

Lastly, we also use this medium to thank the immediate-past executives as led by Comrade Pedro Bekenawei for keying into the transition process and for offering their support towards its actualisation.

We will also not forget to thank the women of Kokodiagbene (both urban and rural-based), the youths as represented by Kokodiagbene Youth Development Movement (KYDM), other associations, as well as every member of the planning committee for their untiring efforts and massive support towards ensuring the success of the ceremony. God bless every one of you.
