KENYANGBENE: Education, bedrock of development — Tonlagha | donates learning aids

The executive leader of Kenyangbene community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Deacon Joseph Tonlagha, has said that education remains a paramount tool to help prepare the youths for the future and to drive the prosperity of the community and kingdom at large.

Dcn. Tonlagha gave the remark during the presentation of learning materials by his led administration to the Kenyangbene community's primary and secondary schools.

In a statement issued by the executive titled, "Empowering the Next Generation: A Milestone for Kenyangbene", the executive leadership noted that the presentation, which elicited joy in both pupils and students, is an investment for a prosperous tomorrow.

Part of the statement reads: "The Kenyangbene Community Executive Council, under the visionary leadership of Dcn Joseph Rowland Tonlagha, took a massive step toward securing the future of our children.

"Education is the bedrock of development, and the Executive Council is ensuring our students have the tools they need to thrive.

"Investing in our children today is the only way to guarantee a prosperous Kenyangbene tomorrow," Dcn Tonlagha added.

Among the items donated are 50 brand new sets of chairs and tables for students to ensure a comfortable learning environment, and five sets of high-quality chairs and tables to support our educators (teachers).

Other items include a bulk donation of calculators and various writing materials, and the presentation of school bags to students that performed excellently well in their academic, scoring 1st and 2nd positions in their previous examinations across all classes.
