A former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State and ex-president of the Gbaramatu Youth Council, GYC, Hon. Christopher Wuruyai, has congratulated the youths of Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, for displaying what he described as "how solidify and formidable" the Gbaramatu youths have become "in selecting youth leadership in recent times."

Hon. Wuruyai who is a Commander in the Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, the foremost security firm engaged by the federal government for the protection of national oil assets, was reacting to the unity displayed by members in the selection of the newly IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom leadership chaired by Oyinkuro Wazo Zikurebai.

Other selected IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom leaders are Prosper Eguare, Vice Chairman; Tracy Edolor Lawei, Secretary General; Wisdom Pori, Assistant Secretary; Afiyagba Sonya Dise, Woman Leader; Beauty Wuruyai, Financial Secretary; Uruemu Agakekeme Moses, Treasurer; John Ukuli, Mobilisation Officer; Ebimotimi E. Ari, Information Officer; Onimide Aruwei Ituebi, Clan Rep 1; Peter Pudie, Clan Rep 2; Simon, Student Rep.

Hon. Wuruyai said the newly IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom leadership will be a victorious one and prayed that the leadership gets the desired help to achieve the mandate to 'Reform, Rebuild, Restore the Council back to its Glory!'

The message reads:

"I offer my congratulatory message to the entire GBARAMATU Kingdom youths, on how solidify and formidable they have been in selecting youth leadership in recent times.

"The Designated Officer in IYC GBARAMATU KINGDOM is another sign that we are in for another victorious youth leadership.

"With no iota of doubt we strongly believe that the Comr. Oyinkuro Wazo Zikurebai led IYC GBARAMATU KINGDOM, will thrive in all seasons.

"In addendum, I pray that the good LORD give this new leadership the safety that will see them through their tenure, and as your leadership is set to Reform, Rebuild and Restore Council back to its original state, helpers will continually show up for you. Amen. Congratulations."

Before the emergence of Comr. Wazo as chairman, the IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom structure was chaired by Comr. Uduboh Peter, a native of Kurutie Federated Community in the kingdom.
