The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide clan executive officers in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West council area, led by Comr. Zikurebai Oyinkuro Wazo, have been unveiled and inaugurated by the Clan Electoral Committee (CLECO) led by Egbor Joe.

The unveiling and inauguration ceremony of the IYC Gbarmatu clan excos held at the Casa De Pedro Annex off Refinery Road in Effurun on Wednesday, April 11, 2024.

Other members of the IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom Executives are Eguare Prosper (Vice Chairman), Lawei Tracy (Secretary General), Pori Wisdom (Assistant Secretary), Ari Ebimotimi (Information Officer), Moses Agakekeme (Treasurer), Wuruyai Beauty (Financial Secretary), Afiyagba Peredisabofa (Woman Leader), Ukuli John (Mobilisation Officer), Ituebi Onimide (Clap Rep 1), Pudie Peter (Clan Rep 2), and Douye Simon (Student Rep.).

Dignitaries in attendance at the unveiling and inauguration ceremony are Amb. Princewill Binebai, National Spokesman, IYC Worldwide; Dr. Doubra Okotete, Chairman IYC Western Zone; Amb. Chief Bene Mamamu, Godswill Wuruyai, Principal Secretary to the MD Tantita.

Others are Comr. Fanny Amatoru, National Treasurer IYC worldwide; Hon. Chris Omula, Secretary Azama Federated Community; Hon. Shadrach Ebikeme, ex GYC President and Coordinator, Tantita; Barr. Frank Ekpemupolo, Coordinator, Tantita; Hon. Paul Uyatede, S.A to Delta State Governor on Youths Mobilization; Barr. Friday Emotimide, President, Gbaramatu Lawyer Association; Kingsley Egbejule, GYC President.

In his acceptance speech, Comr. Zikurebai said he appreciated all the stakeholders and leadership of the clan for the opportunity given him to serve in the capacity of chairman.

He promised not to disappoint or betray the trust reposed on him as chairman while he also assured all present that "we will not fail the Ijaw Nation, the IYC, and the the Gbaramatu Kingdom."

Highpoint of the ceremony is the presentation of certificates of return to the inaugurated exco members.

Before his emergence as chairman of the IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom clan chapter, Comr. Zikurebai was the secretary of the Comr. Uduboh Wilson-led IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom clan chapter.
