The member representing Burutu South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Peres Oloye; the Senior Special Adviser on Oil and Gas to the governor of Delta State, Keyness Oromoni; the Chief Executive of Bolowei Resort Opete, Amb. Bolowei Ogoba; and the General Manager of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Sir Godfrey Pondi, are among notable guests that are set to grace the Ijaw Publishers Forum's (IPF) maiden inauguration in Warri on February 29, 2024.

This is coming after a delegation from the IPF led by its President, Comr. Ozobo Austin, paid the noble Ijaw sons courtesy visits with invitation to attend the inauguration ceremony as special guests of honour.

While accepting the invitation, the noble sons of Ijaw extraction who have individually made their mark in the Ijaw Nation, commended the good works of the Forum for projecting, promoting and advancing the ljaw Nation's development through their various media organizations.

They also praised the IPF for taking the initiative to synchronize media executives from across Ijaw Nation towards building a formidable communication force.

In addition, they encouraged the IPF to not relent in their efforts to redefine the Niger Delta story, particularly the story of the Ijaw Nation, as well as counsel members of the Forum to not despise their little beginnings stressing further that most national and international media organizations started small.

The IPF through its president thanked them for their support and encouragement, while it also assured them of the Forum's readiness to collaborate with them in promoting their various offices and that they shouldn't hesitate to call on the body when the need arises.

The IPF inauguration which is slated for February 29, 2024 will host legions of Ijaw prominent leaders, government officials and youth personalities across the Niger Delta region.
