The Ijaw media council under the auspices of the Ijaw Publishers' Forum (IPF) has announced that Dr. Shedrack Agediga, Chairman of the Delta State Scholarship / Bursary Board, will serve as Chairman of the Inauguration ceremony of its 2nd National Working Committee (NWC).

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, High Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, adding significance to the occasion.

The event which will host top Niger Delta State leaders and stakeholders is scheduled to take place on February 26, 2026, at the Chief Tunde Smooth Playground, NPA, Warri, Delta State.

The Forum prides itself as the intellectual arm of Ijaw/Niger Delta self-determination struggle, advocating for justice and fair share of the nation's resources.

According to the statement, the Forum under the leadership of Comrade Ozobo has brought the Ijaw nation more significance in the country's media space.

The inauguration of its 2nd NWC marked a new chapter in the organization's efforts to advance its goals.

The IPF has extended invitation to members, stakeholders, and well-wishers to participate in the forthcoming ceremony.
