IN LOVING MEMORY: Late Chief Bekepere Igarde nee Donfegha for Burial, March 28

The late Chief Bekepere Igarde nee Donfegha, a native of Iduwini Kingdom in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State and Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West LGA of Delta State, is to be laid to rest in Okerenkoko Federated Community, on Friday, March 28, 2025.

This is contained in the burial notice and arrangement that was released and was signed by Chief Brisibe Seide for the family and by Chief Bonny Igarde for the children.

The late Chief Bekepere Igarde nee Donfegha, born on June 10, 1930, passed away at the age of 91 years on May 18, 2021.

According to the burial itinerary, at 8:00am on Friday, the body of the deceased will depart the Noble Mortuary along DSC Expressway in Udu LGA to Miller Waterfront for onward journey to Okerenkoko Federated Community.

A social wake-keep ceremony in honour of the late Chief Bekepere Igarde nee Donfegha will hold in the evening, with music to be supplied by Chief Allen Alabo and his Izon music band.

The deceased who hails from the family of late Pa Donfegha in Opuofini Quarter of Aghoro Town in Iduwini Kingdom, Ekeremor LGA of Bayelsa State and from late Mama Omoye Bikumor of Elei Idumu Quarter of Okerenkoko Federated Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, is survived by six children, 45 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The children are Chief Bonny Igarde, Ekankumor Igarde, Mr Samson Igarde, Mrs Afro Gabon, Mrs Monday Peres, and Mr Amos Igarde.
