HUMANITARIAN: Master Generous Foundation Rekindles Hope of Less Privilege with Giveaways

updated 24 Dec, 2024

Rising to the needs of the less privilege and the invalids in the society, a nongovernmental organisation in the Niger Delta region, the Masters Generous Foundation (MGF), is helping to rekindle the hope of the needy with its giveaway as part of spreading joy in the holiday season.

The MGF recently visited some locations in the twin cities of Warri and Effurun, Delta State, to donate food items such as indomie, groundnut oil, bags of rice, bottled waters, milk, beans among others. The Foundation also doled out writing materials such as notebooks to kids, as well as Molfix diapers to women, including presentation of cash in the MGF branded envelopes.

Among the areas visited are the Warri Central Hospital, Warri; the General Hospital at Ekpan; the Esther's Court Orphanage Home at DDPA Estate in Ugborikoko, and the King's Kids Compassion Home at Westend, both in Effurun; some trenches located at the NPA waterfront as well as other settlements at the First Marine Gate area and the igbudu market area among others.

The MGF, in the course of the exercise, called on fellow Deltans, Nigerians, profit and other nonprofit organisations, and the government at large to imbibe the spirit of love as demonstrated in giving by sharing with the less privilege from the abundance of what they have, especially at a time when the economy of the country is still experiencing inflation and hardship.

Beneficiaries were grateful to the MGF for remembering them through its giveaways, expressing their appreciation with prayers and jubilation at the surprised gifts they received, which, according to them will bring them some reliefs.
