A first class monarch in the Niger Delta and King of Okochiri Kingdom in Okirika Local Government Area of Rivers State, HRM King Ateke Tom, has praised the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, High Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro, for demonstrating zeal and capacity to reform the Federal Government empowerment initiative in the Niger Delta region.

This is coming as Dr. Otuaro paid an official visit at the weekend to the first class monarch in his palace as contained in a statement issued by the Special Assistant on Media to the PAP Administrator, Mr Igoniko Oduma, on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

King Tom, who noted the achievements of Dr. Otuaro's administration since his appointment as the Administrator of the PAP, also revealed his observation of the Amnesty Boss quiet execution of well-thought-out reforms to reposition the PAP for better and quality service delivery.

The King of Okochiri Kingdom further passed a vote of confidence on the administration of the PAP Administrator having what it takes to pilot the affairs of the programme.

King Tom therefore cautioned those he described as "the detractors of Otuaro" to stop their distractive activities, and allow the Amnesty Boss to concentrate on his job.

In his response, Dr. Otuaro explained that his visit to the ancient Okochiri kingdom in the Ijaw Nation and to the traditional ruler was part of his ongoing consultations and engagements with critical stakeholders of the Niger Delta.

The PAP boss noted that King Tom was one of the major Niger Delta activists who was consistent with his advocacy for a better standard of living for the region.

While he thanked the King of Okochiri Kingdom for his fatherly advise and words of encouragement, Dr. Otuaro promised the Office of the PAP is poised to continually render quality service in line with the agenda of Renewed Hope of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
