HOUSEWARMING: Commendations Trail Chief Wuruyai's Multimillionaire Bungalow

Commendations from families, friends and well-wishers have continued to trail the recent achievement of the Bebeboughawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Chief Joseph Okpiri Wuruyai's unveiling of his multimillionaire eight-bedroom bungalow home.

The housewarming ceremony which held in Benikrukru community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West council area, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

The ceremony was declared open after a praise and prayer session by Pastor Roland Ojogun and Snr. Boan. Godday Omoko who both prayed for God's protection and blessings upon members in the household.

Speaking to PENGlobal Social on the development, commentators thanked God for the success of the project and poured out congratulations on the host, citing it as an example for others to emulate.

"It's a very welcome development and my warm congratulations to Chief Joseph Wuruyai, the Bebeboughawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom," said Hon. Matthew Febaide, chairman of Oporoza community. 

"I congratulate him officially. This is the kind of thing we want in our lives. This is a call for celebration. This is a home, a country home, and we thank God Almighty for using him to build this kind of country home in our community. It's a very great one and we appreciate and thank God Almighty.

"And we encourage all leaders in Gbaramatu Kingdom, including myself, to encourage ourselves to follow suit on this kind of welcome development in our communities," added the leader who prides himself as the Chairman of all chairmen in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Another community and political leader, Amb. Fred Igere, 8"It's a beautiful one. I love it and I pray that more persons will hace this kind of idea in developing our communities. This will make us to remember our home. Anybody that comes to the community will know that he/she needs a place to stay just by seeing this beautiful edifice. We are proud of the builder and the owner. It is worth emulating," he added.

For Mrs. Timi Tonfawei, she said, "I'm happy today because my brother now has a building (house). I have been expecting this for a long time. And today it has become a reality and I thank God Almighty for that. We are happy."

Another leader, Dcn. Collins Febaide, said, "What God has used him to do, it's like the yoke of poverty and stagnation has been broken. It's a good thing that someone needs to follow up on. It's a good legacy.

"And especially, I thank the life of our brother, the philanthropist, Mr. Matthew Tonlagha, for having the vision im thd community and that every young person should have a stake in this community. I'm the happiest person. If we can follow this, I think the next generation will be far better," he added.

Chief Wuruyai is the MD/CEO of Jowurus Nigeria Limited, and the Executive Chairman of Gbaramatu Host Communities Development Trust (GHCDT). He also held the executive position of chairman at the defunct Egbema Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF).
