The Chief Executive Officer of Yanga Empire Cleaning Services, Mrs. Elizabeth Tonghan-Ekpemupolo has been honoured with the PENGlobal Innovative Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award for her innovative approach in remodeling cleaning services and promoting hygiene.

Mrs. Tonghan-Ekpemupolo received the award which was presented by a guest and family friend of the recipient, Mrs. Favour, during the birthday celebration of the awardee on Friday, February 28, 2025.

According to the Brand Director, Mr. Francis Abai, the recipient was among the fifteen recipients carefully chosen in recognition of her laudable contributions to furthering hygiene and serving as an inspirational model to young women in the Niger Delta region.

He said that it is hoped that the recognition of the recipient as the PENGlobal Innovative Female Entrepreneur of the Year will serve as a motivation to other young women to think outside the box and make a difference in their various endeavours.

Reacting to the presentation, Mrs. Tonghan-Ekpemupolo, who received the award in company of her husband, the Leader of the Legislative Arm in Warri South-West Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo Idukedoumene Samuel, expressed her appreciation and thanked the PENGlobal brand for the honour.

She also noted that it will further heighten her resolve and spur her determination to make a difference in the society.

The inscription on the award reads, "This recognition goes to Mrs. Elizabeth Peremoboere Tonghan-Ekpemupolo, the CEO of Yanga Empire, for her remarkable and innovative trends through her subsidiary, Yanga Empire Cleaning Services, which has opened a new chapter as well as create more awareness on hygiene. The Yanga Empire CEO becomes the fourth among the fifteenth recipients to receive the PENGlobal awards which were aimed at recognising positive achievements towards the betterment if the society and contributions to the growth of the PENGlobal brand.
