The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Peretim Elite Global Limited, Mr. Peretimiebi Timiyan, has been honoured with the PENGlobal Innovative Male Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the business and social brand promoter, Mr. Abai Francis, the Brand Director of PENGlobal.

The award was presented to the founder of the real estate brand by the Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Gbaramatu Clan, Comr. Zikurebai Oyinkuro Wazo, at the Liaison office of the Presidential Amnesty Programme in Effurun, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

According to the Brand Director, Mr. Timiyan was chosen "for his determination and dedication in charting a new path in the manufacturing sector through its locally made quality Peretim paints and for his versatile contributions to the real estate sector in the riverine areas."

While presenting the award, Comr. Wazo noted that the Peretim brand had distinguished itself from the norm through its founder's ability to move beyond the oil and gas struggle to another phase, reiterating that in less than two years the brand is gradually distinguishing itself from others.

He urged the founder of Peretim to keep pushing despite perceived challenges as many youths are learning from his examples and are being motivated to follow in his footsteps.

Wazo, also hailed the PENGlobal brand for distinguishing itself in its five years operations through its well-selected awards, stressing further that the honours to the recipients were indeed merited as they have proved themselves worthy of its set of awards.

In his response, Mr. Timiyan, a member of the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), thanked the PENGlobal brand for the honour which he described as "very important to me".

Going down memory lane, the Peretim Boss recounted the several ordeals of being an entrepreneur that he passed through in the process of birthing and championing the real estate brand, but that in all he returned all the glory to the Almighty God as the honour belong to Him.

He therefore dedicated the award to the Almighty God who birthed the vision in him and appreciated members of the Peretim team, families, friends, all others who were supportive of his dreams.

Recall that the Peretim Elite Global Limited earned its mark in history by its endorsement of Izon highlife musician, Dr. Alfred Izon-Ebi, popularly known as JKing, as its brand ambassador for its locally made Peretim quality paints.

Charting a new path in the non-oil sector in the Niger Delta region through its venture into the manufacturing of paints is a commendable feat that needs to be supported by all well-meaning Nigerians. Mr. Peretim has proved that in us lay great potentials more valuable than crude oil which we can tap into and exploit to make the achievement of our dreams a reality.
