The Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) under the leadership of its President, Mr. Egbejule Arerebo Kingsley, in collaboration with Lily Hospitals is set to embark on a 4-day Free Medical Outreach programme in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

In a statement issued by the youth body, the GYC Public Relations Officer, Chief Wuruyai Ebielade Maxwell, stated that the free medical outreach will take place from Monday, March 23, to Thursday, March 26, 2026.

According to the statement, the Free Medical Outreach is part of the corporate social responsibility of the health institution, Lily Hospitals. 

The medical services to be offered during the duration of the outreach include free medical consultation, free eye checks and surgeries, free blood tests, free blood pressure check up and medication, free diabetes check up and medication, free reading glasses and frames, among others. 

It was also disclosed that, asides Oporoza Community, Lily Hospitals will also visit Okerenkoko and Kurutie communities in the kingdom, and Sokebolou Community in the Burutu LGA of the State.

"We are using this medium to inform and invite our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters in Warri and environs to not miss this golden opportunity so as to benefit from the free medical outreach.

"Interested persons should reach out to their community chairman in the area of transportation as the GYC is liaising with the various communities chairmen to help convey Gbaramatu people from Warri to the communities for the programme," Wuruyai said.
