GYC: Again, President Egbejule Stresses on Collaboration, Thanks Stakeholders in Appreciation Note
The newly inaugurated President of the Gbaramatu Youths Development Association, also known as the Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) Worldwide, Mr. Egbejule Kingsley, has promised to collaborate with all stakeholders in the umbrella body of youths in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State towards advancing the goals of the GYC.
Mr. Egbejule made this known in an appreciation note to GYC stakeholders on behalf of cabinet members on Monday, March 4, 2024, with a copy made to PENGlobal Community.
Titled 'My Heartfelt Appreciation to Gbaramatu Youths over the Successful Gbaramatu Youth Council 2024 Elective Convention, Held at Oporoza Community, the Traditional Headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom on Friday, March 1, 2024,' the youth president commended the election process and hailed Gbaramatu youths for committing to the progress of the youth Council.
Part of the statement reads: "Dear Esteemed members of the Electoral Committee, I extend my deepest gratitude to you for orchestrating a truly commendable process that upheld the principles of democracy, fairness, and credibility. Your dedication to ensuring a level playing field for free and fair elections is a testament to your commitment to the progress and prosperity of the Gbaramatu Kingdom at large and the GYC in particular.
"I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to my formidable team for your unwavering diligence in consulting and persuading the delegates to support our vision. Your cum collective dedication and hard work played a significant role in the success of our campaign, and I am truly grateful for your efforts despite the enormous pressure," he stated.
Speaking further, Mr. Egbejule reiterated his earlier promise of collaboration made in his inaugural speech on March 2, especially with fellow co-contenders, as well as run an all-inclusive government.
"To my fellow contenders, I want to acknowledge the tough competition you presented, which ultimately made the entire electoral process worthwhile. Your participation enriched the democratic experience, and I am eager to collaborate with each of you who are willing to join hands with my team in advancing the goals of our organization.
"As emphasized in my inaugural speech, I reaffirm my commitment to fostering a consultative and inclusive government that harnesses the potential of all stakeholders. I am determined to work closely with my co-contestants and other leaders and stakeholders of the Gbaramatu Kingdom to address the challenges we face and unlock the immense potential of our community.
"Once again, thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the elections, and I look forward to a productive and collaborative tenure ahead. Warm regards," the statement reads.
