Erstwhile President of the Gbaramatu Youths Development Association, popularly known as Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) Worldwide, Hon. Shadrach Ebikeme, has congratulated the newly elected and inaugurated GYC President, Mr. Egbejule Kingsley, and his cabinet members.

Hon. Ebikeme, a former senior special assistant (SSA) to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on community development, offered his congratulations on Monday, March 4, 2024.

The former youth president in his congratulatory note thanked stakeholders and other cabinet members for their support especially in ensuring a peaceful and successful transition.

In his words: "To God be the glory, I, Hon. Shadrach Onitsha Ebikeme, along with my erstwhile cabinet offer our congratulations to Mr. Egbejule Kingsley and other elected GYC executives that were inaugurated on Saturday.

"I wish the Mr. Egbejule-led GYC a prosperous tenure in office and pray God grant them the needed insights to take the youth Council to the next level in advancing the youths of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

"I also used this medium and opportunity to appreciate all critical stakeholders for their financial support and otherwise, as well as to my fellow exco, parliament members, and the electoral committee for joining hands together to make the transition a huge success," he added.

The former youth president in his congratulatory message to GYC President Egbejule also used the medium to thank the Almighty God for protecting every member of his cabinet while serving in office.

Hon. Shadrach is also among the list of recipients that was honoured by the GYC with an award for participating and contributing to the growth and development of the youth Council in Gbaramatu Kingdom.
