GLORIOUS EXIT: Late Rev. Mother Madagho Odibo-Satu to be laid to rest in Obotobo II Community, May 1

The Tuaghaye Family of Edemeteigha Quarters, Obotobo II Community, and the Digimara Family of Enbeware Quarters, Odimodi Community, both in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, announce the passing of their beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and matriarch, Rev. Mother Madagho Odibo-Satu nee Tuaghaye, who will be laid to rest in Obotobo II, on Friday, May 1, 2026.

This is contained in a burial arrangement notice signed by Chief Abu Ikiyegha for the Tuaghaye Family, by Double Chief Emaye Benidiwei for the Digimohara Family, and Apst. Festus Satu for the Children.

The late Rev. Mother Odibo-Satu passed away at the age of 92 years after a brief illness on November 29, 2025.

According to the notice, a Service of Songs and wake-keep ceremony will hold at her husband's residence, Igobotuagha Compound in Obotobo I Community, Ogulagha Kingdom, by 2pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, with all-night music to be supplied by John Ekpesebo & His Diamond Band of Africa.

By 7am on Friday, May 1, 2026, her body will leave Veenell Mortuary, Warri, in a motorcade, via Miller Waterfront Jetty near NPA to her husband's residence, Igobotuagha Compound in Obotobo I Community, for a brief stop over, before proceeding to her hometown, Obotobo II Community for a brief funeral service and interment.

Music is to be supplied by De Numupere of Isaba Kingdom in a social wake-keep ceremony.

She is survived by eight children among whom are Apst Festus Satu, Apst Tolumone Satu, Dcn. Peter Satu, Chief Francis Satu, Mr. Zion Satu, Mrs. Beauty Collins, and Mrs. Matina Yanki. Other relatives include 49 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren among others.
