GICF Announces Date, Theme for 5th Edition of Gbaramatu Prayer Day
The leadership of the Gbaramatu Interdenominational Christian Fellowship, GICF, an umbrella body of Christians in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced that the 5th edition of its annual prayer conference comes up on Friday, October 13th 2023 with the theme 'Breaking New Ground (Hosea 10:12).
The leadership of the GICF comprises of its Chairman, Pst. Samuel Ukuli; Vice Chairman, Apst. Mathias Amaye; Secretary, Pst. Saint Tebiano; Programme Coordinator, Pst. Friday Mala; P.R.O. and Mobilization Officer, Pst. Felix Famutua; Music Director, Rev. Joel Azapere; Sound Director, Mr. Akpojotor; Special Adviser, Apst. Bishop Joseph Irawo among other founding fathers.
According to the statement released by the executive leadership, the 5th edition will hold 9:00am in Oporoza Town, headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom.
GICF also disclosed that some of the prominent guest that are expected at the 5th edition of the prayer conference include traditional royal fathers in the likes of HRM Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom as Royal Father of the Day; HRM Elder Capt. Dr. King Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), Torububou 1, Agbonu, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom & Chairman, Delta State Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum as Royal Guest of Honour; and HRM King Monday Ovie Whiskey, Udurhe 1, Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom as Royal Guest of Honour.
Other special guests include High Chief Wellington Okrika (JP), the Bolouwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; His Excellency, Dcn. Barr. Kingsley Otuaro, immediate-past Deputy Governor of Delta State, and Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, the Honourable Member representing Warri South-West Constituency and Speaker in the Delta State House of Assembly as Special Guest of Honour; and High Chief (Amb.) Godspower Gbenekama (JP) as Guest of Honour among others.
"The leadership is currently meeting with our guests to formally intimate them and to seek their all round support at this critical phase of preparation," said Pastor Ukuli.
"We are also having two God's general who will be on ground as guest speakers, Apostle Sylvester Newman Bebenimibo and Pastor Philip Gbasin.
"We also use this medium to also inform all sons and daughters of Gbaramatu Kingdom to not miss this power-packed edition of 'BREAKING NEW GROUND'. The kingdom must move forward and with God all things are possible!" Pastor Ukuli proclaimed.
The 5th edition of the Gbaramatu Prayer Day will witness among other activities, praise and worship session with the saxophonist, Samuel Denyefa Mala popularly known as DenyeSax, making an appearance to entertain guests.
