GBARAMATU: Youth Security Council Convenes Emergency Meeting in Ijaghala
The umbrella body of youths, the Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC), through its Security Council has announced plans to hold an emergency meeting in Ijaghala Community for all youths of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the leadership of the Council, Mr. Egbejule Arerebo Kingsley, boats will be available at the King Couple Jetty near NPA to convey stakeholders to the venue of the meeting by 7:30am prompt.
The meeting is expected to bring together youth leaders, executives, coordinators, stakeholders, and other members from communities across the kingdom.
The Council said the emergency gathering has been convened to deliberate on pressing security and developmental matters affecting Gbaramatu Kingdom, with a view to strengthening unity among youths and promoting lasting peace, safety, and sustainable development within the area.
The leadership emphasized that the meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss critical issues and adopt collective resolutions aimed at advancing the interests of the kingdom.
The GYC therefore urged all youths of the kingdom to attend the meeting promptly, stressing that decisions to be reached would have significant implications for the security, peace, and future development of Gbaramatu Kingdom.
