GBARAMATU: Youth body commends Otuaro on commitment to education

The umbrella body of youths in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, the Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC), has commended the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), High Chief (Dr.) Dennis Otuaro, for what the youth body describes as his "outstanding commitment to education and youth development" in the kingdom and in the Niger Delta region.

The statement which was issued by the President of the GYC, Comrade Egbejule Arerebo Kingsley, and Secretary, Comrade Erike Raphael, on Tuesday, is coming on the heels of Otuaro's recent donation of marker boards to both primary and secondary schools in the kingdom.

"The Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) heartily celebrates and honors High Chief Dennis Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), for his outstanding commitment to education and youth development, particularly for his recent donation of marker boards to primary and secondary schools across Gbaramatu Kingdom.

"Since his appointment as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, the youths of Gbaramatu Kingdom have continued to benefit immensely from his purposeful and people-centered leadership. His administration has consistently prioritized education as a key tool for empowerment, peace, and sustainable development in the Niger Delta," the statement reads.

The GYC further hailed the PAP Boss, a pioneer member of the youth body, for creating educational opportunities for the youths and for not neglecting those in the creeks from having access to quality education.

"Today, countless youths from the Niger Delta have access to quality educational opportunities, both within Nigeria and abroad, through the vision and interventions of the Presidential Amnesty Programme under his leadership. These opportunities have restored hope, built capacity, and transformed lives across our region.

"As a pioneer member of the apex youth body in Gbaramatu Kingdom and a leader who truly understands the value of education, High Chief Dennis Otuaro has once again demonstrated his passion by extending support even to creek and riverine schools, ensuring that no child is left behind regardless of location," they added.

The GYC thanked Otuaro, who they describe as a pride to them, for his educational support and achievements, while pledging the continuous support of the youth body to the PAP Administrator.

"The Gbaramatu Youth Council expresses profound pride in the milestones achieved so far under his leadership and reassures him of our continued support and partnership. We remain grateful for his dedication to the progress of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom and the entire Niger Delta region."
