GBARAMATU PRAYER DAY: GICF Announces 8th Edition Tagged 'The Manifestation of Divine Glory' October 11–13
The Gbaramatu Interdenominational Christian Fellowship (GICF) has announced plans for the 8th edition of the Gbaramatu Prayer Day, a three-day spiritual gathering scheduled to hold from October 11 to 13, 2026, at Oporoza Town, headquarters of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The announcement was made by the GICF, and signed by its Publicity Secretary/Mobilization, Pastor Felix Famutua, on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The forthcoming 2026 edition, themed “The Manifestation of Divine Glory,” is expected to bring together Christians, ministers of the gospel, worshippers, residents and guests for intensive prayers, worship and revival.
The GICF called on the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom and members of the public to prepare spiritually and to participate in the programme with great expectation.
According to the Fellowship, the annual gathering is designed as a platform for collective prayers for Gbaramatu Kingdom, spiritual renewal and an encounter with God, with expectations that the impact of the programme will extend beyond Gbaramatu to neighbouring kingdoms and communities.
“The glory of God is about to come down in Gbaramatu Kingdom, and its impact shall extend across neighbouring Kingdoms,” the Fellowship stated.
GICF described the programme as a “divine gathering of prayer, worship, revival, and the manifestation of God’s glory,” urging intending participants to prepare their hearts for the three-day spiritual exercise.
“Come with great expectation, prepare your heart, and get ready for an encounter with the Almighty God,” the Fellowship added.
With preparations gathering momentum ahead of the October event, the organisers expressed confidence that the 8th Gbaramatu Prayer Day would provide an opportunity for Christians to unite in faith and intercession for the peace, progress and spiritual wellbeing of the kingdom.
The Fellowship further declared that “Gbaramatu Kingdom is set for a divine visitation,” as it mobilises worshippers and members of the public for the 2026 edition in Oporoza.
