A sociocultural organisation, the Bolowonimode Ogbo Kokodiagbene, also known as Kokodiagbene Women Association, in Kokodiagbene Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced her annual get-together celebration party.

This was contained in an invitation notice of the celebration which is scheduled for 10am on Thursday, 21st September 2023 in Kokodiagbene community playground.

Among prominent ceremonial guests on invitation are the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, as Royal Father of the Day, and the Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo as Father of the Day.

This year edition of the annual Bolowonimode Ogbo Kokodiagbene party is under the distinguished chairmanship of Comr. Pedro Bekenawei, Chairman of Kokodiagbene community, and Chief Madam Fanny Adurumokumor (Chairlady), Hon. Kelvin igere (Vice Chairman), Mrs. Helen Uti (Vice Chairlady), Mama Zimokumor Gelemo (Mother of the Day).

Other special guests of honour are Chief Emmanuel Ekpetipu (Amadiwei of Kokodiagbene community), Hon. Uyadongha Poweide (former Chairman of Kokodiagbene), Mr. Seyeifa Brubor, Mr. David Fellow, Mr. John Akoto, Mr. Solomon Keniye, Mr. Victor Emotimide, Mr. Solomon Akoto, Mr. Matthew Olokpa, Apst. Bestman Cousin, Dr. Blessing Ukugha and Mr. Nani Mala as Master of Ceremony.

According to the Bolowonimode Ogbo Kokodiagbene, all sons and daughters of Kokodiagbene, those in Gbaramatu Kingdom, as well as the general public are all invited to grace the celebration.

The women's meeting party will feature lecture on the importance of women and the need for their empowerment in society, a fund raising among other social activities.
