The people of Inikorogha Federated Community in ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, under the lordship of the Pere, HRM, Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, are set to hold a praise and prayer programme on Thursday, February 6, and swear-in and inaugurate a new executive council leadership to help pilot the affairs of the riverine community on Friday, February 7, 2025.

The swearing-in and inauguration ceremony, which is to be hosted by the outgoing chairman, Comrade Author Pudie, is scheduled to hold in the community's town hall and will kick-off 10:00am on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Expected at the ceremony are Chief Matthew Pudie (Chairman of the Occasion), Chief Samuel Okrika JP (Father of the Day), Chief Vero Emmanuel JP (Mother of the Day), High Chief Isaiah Ukulor JP (Chief Host).

Special guests of honour are Chief Lagos Bubor, Chief Steady Ebiyai, High Chief Victoria Ukulor, Chief Isaac Pudie (Planning Committee Chairman), Elder Capt Paul Ukulor, Elder Sunday Tenkumor. 

The incoming executive leadersmembers to be inaugurated are Captain William Ubebe (Executive Chairman), Comrade Ejoh Ebullient Ebisinde (Vice Chairman), Comrade (Engr.) Diawei Goddowell (Secretary), Comrade Wonighan Lawrence (Public Relations Officer), Comrade Abioto Peremorbowei Prosper (Financial Secretary), Mrs. Edi Ebiyai (Treasurer).

Members of the Inikorogha outgoing executives are Comrade Matthew Azana (Vice Chairman), Comrade Ebimor Ebiyai (Secretary), Comrade Lucky Saboro (Public Relations Officer), and Chief Victoria Ukulor (Treasurer).

Meanwhile, the Praise and Prayer Night programme with the theme ‘Oh Lord Heal the Land’ (2 Kings 2:19-22) comes up 7pm in the community on Thursday, February 6,  with Rev. Francis Diawei JP, Rev. Snr. Apst. Dr. Christopher Ukulor, Miyenteide Tareebiye Mike, Apst. Actor Ayeibo, and Pst. Friday Mala as officiating ministers.

According to the Planning Committee Chairman, Chief Issac, and Planning Committee Secretary General, Comr. Ayeibo, the people of Inikorogha invite all sons and daughters of the community as well as from the kingdom and the to grace the occasion.

Inikorogha community is one of the major communities in the Gbaramatu Kingdom. 

When sworn-in, the new executives are to serve in their various elected offices for a term of four years.
