FUNERAL: Oporoza Councilor, Family Set to Bury Late Father Pa. Peter Esinwerefe Erin March 8

The councilor representing Oporoza community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Emmanuel Juwegha, and family, are set to lay to rest their late father, Pa. Peter Esinwerefe Erin, on Friday, March 8, 2024.

This was disclosed by the Erin families of Ebiabu Quarters in Kokodiagbene community and the Opuro of Kenbai and Elei Quarters of Oporoza and Okerenkoko communities, respectively,  in a notice on Wednesday, February 28, and that was signed by Capt. Paul Ukulor for the family, and Mr. Clifford Juwegha, for the children.

According to the burial arrangement "announcing the passing unto glory of their son, husband, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and great grandfather", the remains of the Late Pa. Peter Esinwerefe Erin will leave Ame Specialist Hospital in Okumagba Avenue, Warri by 3:00pm for Miller Waterside near NPA, for onward conveyance to his hometown, Oporoza community, for a social wake-keep ceremony.

Musical entertainment is to be supplied by Prince Smally Okpe and his Izon musical band.

In the early hours of Saturday, March 9, the remains of the deceased will be committed to Mother Earth.

The Late Pa. Peter Esinwerefe Erinwho, who died at the age of 102 years on 30th September 2023 after a brief illness, is survived by three wives, 13 children, 29 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

May his gentle soul rest peacefully in the Bosom of the Lord Almighty.
