The funeral plans for the Late High Chief Jonathan Tukutu Governor Deregbanghan, also known as JOGOF, the Pere Gbolu of Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, have been scheduled for Tuesday 21st November and Thursday 23rd November 2023.

This is contained in a burial notice released by the family of the late Pere Gbolu and was signed by Elder Francis Governor for the family, and by Godbless Governor for the children.

According to the funeral arrangement, a Service of Songs ceremony will hold 4pm at his residence, No. 4 Chief Tukutu Governor Close in New Layout, off Jakpa Road, Effurun, Delta State on Tuesday 21st November.

On Thursday 23rd November, at 7:30am, the remains of the Late High Chief Governor will leave Safe Haven Mortuary, Okumagba, to his hometown Okerenkoko via Miller Waterside along NPA in Warri.

Funeral Service for the late Pere Gbolu begins 4pm at Ibu-Idumu quarters in Okerenkoko Town, followed by a social wake-keep ceremony, after which his remains will be committed to Mother Earth on Friday, 24th November.

The late High Chief Governor hails from Ibu-Idumu quarters in Okerenkoko Town, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West L.G.A.; and from Sein-ware in Izon-Oburutu in Burutu L.G.A. and Ebiboh of Ogbe-Ijoh, Lotiebiri quarters in Warri South-West L.G.A., all of Delta State.

The Late High Chief Governor, who passed away on 11th October 2023 at the age of 70 years, is survived by five wives, 31 children, and 13 grandchildren.
