FUNERAL: Late Madam Eregha Akoto for Burial February 7

The burial date for the late Priestess of Naboudisemokumor, Madam Eregha Akoto, a native of both Kokodiagbene and Okerenkoko communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has been announced as Friday, February 7, 2025.

This is contained in a statement announcing the funeral ceremony and that was signed by Duduke Akoto for the family, and by the son of the deceased, Felix Paul.

According to the burial notice, the remains of the late Madam Eregha Akoto, a Priestess of Naboudisemokumor, will be laid to rest in Kokodiagbene community after a social wake-keep ceremony which begins 5pm on Friday.

The late Madam Eregha Akoto hails from the families of late Pa, Akoto Ekpesin of Ugeh Quarter of Kokodiagbene and the Danumughan of Okiri Quarter of Okerenkoko, both in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Late Madam Eregha Akoto who passed away at the age of 93 years (1932-2025) is survived by two children, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

The families invite the general public to join them in honouring and paying their last respect to their "dear beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother."
