FUNERAL: Late Capt. Winfred Itima for Burial April 5th, Service of Songs Holds April 3rd

The burial date of the Late Capt. Winfred Ondo Itima has been announced by the families of the deceased as Friday, April 5, 2024, to be preceded by a Service of Songs ceremony in his residence on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

This is contained in the notice of burial arrangements announcing the funeral rites that was signed by Engr. Birifiniyerin Itima for the children and Chief William Itima for the family.

The Late Capt. Winfred Ondo Itima hails from the families of Late Mr. Itima Okoroware Fafa of Ogeh Quarters in Kunukunuma Town and Fafa Quarters in Pepe-Ama Town, and Late Mrs. Muhama Itima (Nee Aruwei) of Iva Quarters of Kunukunuma Town, all in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to the invitation card by the families announcing "the burial ceremony of their son, father, uncle and grandfather", a Service of Songs holds 3:00pm at his residence in No. 9 Nmezuba Close, New Layout, off Jakpa Road, Effurun, Delta State, on Wednesday, April 3.

7:00am on Friday, April 5, the remains of the Late Capt. Itima leaves the Safe Haven Mortuary at Plot 2 Eyiangho Street off Aruoture Street besides Williams Square Event Centre in Warri, Okumagba, to his home town, Pepe-Ama in Gbaramatu Kingdom for funeral service and interment. 

The Late Capt. Itima, who is survived by wife, children and grandchildren, passed away at the age of 68 years. May his gentle soul rest peacefully in the Bosom of the Lord Almighty, Amen.
