FUNERAL: Ezekiel Ukulor, family to bury mother in style March 28, invites general public

Mr. Ezekiel Ukulor, a native of Inikorogha and Kokodiagbene communities, all in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, along with his family are set to lay their beloved mother, late Madam Diepreye Godwill, who passed away at the age of 74 years (1950–2024) to eternal rest in a befitting funeral ceremony on Friday, March 28, 2025.

This is contained in a notice announcing the funeral arrangements of the late Madam Deiyepreye, and that was signed on behalf of the family by Mr. Ezekiel Ukulor on behalf of the children and by Chief James Owukori Akomu for the family.

According to the family, the late Madam Deiyepreye will be honoured with a colourful wake-keep ceremony at her hometown, Ebede quarter in Dorguewoama community, Okoroma Kingdom under Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, before being committed to Mother Earth.

The body of the late Madam Diepreye Godwill will leave Nembe General Hospital mortuary by 9am to mother's family home at Ewoama.

Mr Ezekiel and family invite family members, friends and other sympathisers to join them in honouring their departed mother and to pay their last respect.

"Mama will be surely missed. The void her absence has created cannot be filled. It is so sad but in all we give glory to the Almighty God who loves her most," the family stated.

The late Madam Deiyepreye, who passed away on Friday, August 1, 2024, hails from the Akinam / Ebede Royal family of Dorguewoama of Okoroma Clan, the Ojukwu House of Duguruyai group of Houses; the Biambo Family of Bassambiri under Chief Pegi Group of Houses, Egbebele Polo, all in Nembe LGA, and the Ogbom/Oguta Royal family of Epedu and Ezekwe Family of Iwoi, all in Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa State.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace (Amen).
