As it is often said, "Death is inevitable." However, for believers in Christ Jesus, death is not the end, as those who sleep in the Lord are resting from their labours and await the reward of eternal life by the Creator (1 Thessalonians 4 Verses 13 to 18).

We therefore draw comfort from the above words of scripture and take solace in the fact that our dear sister, aunty, mother, and grandmother, Late Dcns. Tutu Gladys Karawei Nee Wariyai, whom we laid to eternal rest on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, is asleep in the Lord, awaiting the great day of Resurrection.

While we await the Promise of the Lord, we however acknowledge the roles played by family members, friends, and other sympathisers in giving the late Dcns Gladys Karawei a befitting burial rite. We therefore use this medium to appreciate the Almighty God for the comforting strength and grace to honour our beloved departed sister and mother with a deserving funeral, and also for His protection on all of our guests who were in attendance.

We thank the spiritual leadership and entire members of the Royal Power Bible Ministry International where she worshipped until her demise, for their spiritual support, words of encouragement and conduct of the ceremonies.

We also thank everyone whom the good Lord placed in their hearts a charitable offering of support, financially, towards the success of the burial. Your donations and/or contributions are highly appreciated, and we say THANK YOU. Likewise, your condolences, phone calls and messages aimed at consoling us in our moment of grief means a lot to us.

To those who comforted us with their presence despite their busy schedules during the Service of Songs at Udu, and the burial ceremony at Oporoza Town, we are grateful for availing us with your presence which means so much to us.

Lastly, we thank the good people of Nehi-Bralabor quarters of Benikrukru Community and Oporoza Town for the warm reception and assistance we received during the course of the burial. Your overwhelming support to us is highly commendable and we deeply appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.

It is our prayers that the Almighty God in His infinite mercies and grace grant us all long life. May He greatly reward you openly for your good works. When next we meet, we pray it will be for the celebration of life and its achievements, not the shedding of tears in Jesus name, Amen.
