END OF YEAR PARTY: Tantita Egwa Unit Holds Celebration December 19, Announces Prizes for Cultural Dance, Football Competition

The Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) Egwa Unit in Warri South-West council area of Delta State is set to celebrate its End of Year Party under the chairmanship of Hon. Seiyefa Ekpemupolo, with a presentation to be delivered on the topic, "The Social Cultural and Sportsmanship of Tantita Security Personnel to the Nigerian State" on Friday, December 19, 2025.

The celebration, which comes up 7:00pm at Egwa Community, has as the Royal Father of the Day, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Special Guest of Honour are the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor; Chairman of TSSNL, High Chief (Dr.) Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo; Deputy Chairman of TSSNL, Mr. Matthew Tonlagha; Managing Director of TSSNL, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi; General Manager of TSSNL, Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi; and former chairman, Warri South-West LG Council, Hon. George Ekpemupolo.

Hosted by the Coordinator of TSSNL, Egwa Unit, Comrade Ebi Raymond Ekpemupolo, and Supervisors in Egwa Unit Nanadigha Toboulayefa Super and Comrade Gbabozor Otuaro, the celebration will feature a cultural dance competition and football tournament.

The organisers revealed that the football tournament starts from December 15 and terminates on December 18, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes of N500,000k, N300,000k and N150,000k. Meanwhile, cultural dance competition has 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes of N250,000k, N150,000k and N100,000k to be won.

Giving more details of the football tournament, the organisers said eight teams will participate in the football tournament, namely Egwa One Unit, Asafama Unit, Ukpogbene Unit, Kurutie Unit, Igboboulo Unit, Apala Unit, Jones Creek Unit and Batan Unit.

According to the organisers, "Each team is expected to register nine players. Only Tantita operational field workers with ID Cards are eligible to participate" in the football games with each "Match duration shall be forty minutes fo each half.

"As part of discipline and the rules of engagement, a Yellow Card and Red Card attracts a fine of N3,000k each, improper dressing by any team will attract N4,000k, while any draw will at full time result in penalty," they added.

Speaking on the purpose of the celebration, they disclosed that, "In the world, sport brings unity. And so, there is need for workers to celebrate together at the end of every working year. We therefore enjoin the workers to celebrate themselves and promote the growth and advancement of Egwa community at large.

"We also use this medium to invite the general public to join the workers to celebrate a successful year as we preach unity, peace and prosperity."
