DIAMOND JUBILEE: How Ogo-Oluwa Tamar-Ebijor Asia Moses Kickstarts Her 60th Birthday Anniversary

updated 19 Feb, 2024

On Sunday, February 18, 2024, in the coastal Okerenkoko Federated Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Mrs. Ogo-Oluwa Tamar-Ebijor Asia Moses began another phase of journey in her life. It was a day she turned 60. It was her Diamond Jubilee!

But for the celebrant, the daughter of the late iconic Pa Apst. Asia Bebenimibo (of blessed memory), since it was a Sunday, what best way to start the celebration of her Diamond Jubilee other than to be in the House of her Creator!

Moreover, she counted the phenomenon a blessing and a favour that the day she achieved 60th years on the Earth fell on a day that is generally regarded as God's day—a day most Christians troop to offer the Maker of the Heavens and the Earth, worship and thanksgiving.

Although her children had been making big plans to mark their beloved golden mother's Diamond Jubilee in a colourful ceremony, however, that would come later as the celebrant got into her white garment apparel seven hours later into her D-Day and made for the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Bibopere Zion (Divine Solution Center) in Okerenkoko, presided over by the Minister-in-Charge, Snr. Boan. Peter Ebieride German (JP).

When her time of expressing her gratitude came, Mrs. Ogo-Oluwa Tamar-Ebijor Asia Moses offered her appreciation to her Maker for counting her worthy among the living in good health and for blessing her with children as well as loved ones.

Full of joy, the celebrant, in the midst of the colourful assembly, danced and sang in her loudest voice to God during the worship and praise session, as well as in her Thanksgiving presentation. Her gyration reminds one of the act of King David in 2 Samuel 6:14-22 who "danced before the Lord with all his might..." (New Living Translation).

The highpoint of the Thanksgiving was a prayer session offered by a number of ministers on the celebrant, as they intercede on her behalf with prayer requests to the Lord to prolong her life, grant her heart's desires and other blessings.

By 12 noon, the first part of the celebration had been done. Beginning from the remaining 12 hours of the day, the second part of the celebration is set to begin.
