Comrade Ozobo Austin, on behalf of the management of the Congress TV / Newspaper, a fast-growing media organisation based in the Niger Delta, has expressed profound appreciation to eminent leaders, stakeholders, traditional rulers, public office holders, professional bodies, civil society organisations and women groups across the region for their overwhelming support towards the successful celebration of its fifth anniversary.

The media organisation, founded by a proud son of the Niger Delta, Comrade Ozobo Austin, said the remarkable success of the anniversary celebration was made possible through the goodwill, support, encouragement and solidarity it received from individuals and organisations committed to the growth of indigenous media in the region.

In a statement signed by the Publisher, Ozobo, on behalf of the management said the organisation specifically appreciated the National Chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Amb. (Dr.) Godknows Boladei Igali; the National President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Chief (Barr.) Ozobo reaffirmed Congress TV/Newspaper's commitment to promoting good governance, defending the interests of the Niger Delta people, amplifying the voices of the underserved and upholding the highest standards of ethical journalism.

He assured supporters that the organisation would continue to justify the confidence reposed in it by providing accurate, balanced and impactful reporting while contributing meaningfully to the development of the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
