The Bolou-ere of Ogulagha Kingdom in the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Ambassador Chief (Princess) Caroline Ene JP+, who was recently honoured by the business and social brand promotional agency with the PENGlobal Iconic Woman of the Year Award is set to be conferred with an Honorary Doctorate.

Amb. Chief Ene will receive the Honorary Doctorate from the Myles Leadership University, MLU, in Accra, Ghana, on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

Myles Leadership University, with Dr. K. Ravi Acharya as its Vice Chancellor, is a "21st century university that is committed to raising and empowering the next generation of change-makers and world leaders who will champion change and lead in whatever industry they find themselves in," its website reads. 

The MLU which is currently affiliated with top universities in India, Togo, and the Benin Republic, has as its goal "to empower over 5 million youths by 2045 with leadership and life skills" and also offers “industry-cut leadership and a management-oriented curriculum.”

Its faculty, it said, has "experienced and successful industry professionals" and with its integration of theory with practical learning in the real world which aligns with its philosophy, the MLU is poised to "empowering students to take ownership of their own learning, equipping each student to think entrepreneurially, and employing the most engaging and inspiring teaching techniques" thereby revolutionising and “pioneering a new take on higher education and leadership development education.”

Amb. Chief Ene is the Chief Executive Officer of Chief Ene Nigeria Enterprises Limited and she is also the woman leader of the Ogulagha Kingdom Women Political Forum in the Burutu council area.

The award of the prestigious Honorary Doctorate, which is an academic honor given to someone who has made significant contributions to their field or society and symbolizes excellence, leadership, and impact, has further sealed the reputation of the woman entrepreneur, philanthropist, socialite, leader and global tourist.
