CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Late Pa. Capt. Stephen Megbulagha Ofoghan for burial Dec. 12, Service of Songs holds Dec. 10
Late Pa. Capt. Stephen Megbulagha Ofoghan, popularly known as Otorlor, a native of Oporoza and Kunukunuma communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, who passed away at the age of 91 years, is to be buried in Kunukunuma on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
This is contained in a statement announcing the passing and burial arrangement of the late Pa. Capt. Ofoghan, and that was signed by Chief Gbabo for the family and by Mr. Felix Ofoghan for the children.
The Service of Songs ceremony, according to the burial arrangement, is billed to hold 4:00pm at his residence, No. 31 Ojugo Street off Giwa Amu, Okumagba Layout, Warri, on Tuesday, December 10.
9:30am the corpse will leave the Ame Specialist Hospital Mortuary, Okumagba Layout for a brief stop over at his residence before proceeding in a motorcade to Miller Waterfront jetty near NPA, to his hometown, Kunukunuma.
After a social wake keep ceremony, the remains of the late Pa. Capt. Ofoghan will be laid to rest 7:00am on Friday, December 13, to be followed by a Thanksgiving Service at the Word Alive Christian Assembly on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
The late Pa. Capt. Ofoghan whi hails from the families of Ofoghan in Kenibra Idumu, Oporoza community and Tubode in Ogeh Idumu in Kunukunuma community, all in Gbaramatu Kingdom, is survived by two wives, Mrs. Dora Miewerefa Ofoghan and Mrs. Mabel Ofoghan; 11 children, 32 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
May the soul of the beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin, late Pa. Capt. Ofoghan (Otorlor) rest in perfect peace (Amen).
