The Pudie family of Azama Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced the burial date of their departed sister, aunty, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, late Mama Maku Ojo Pudie for Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

This is contained in a burial notice that was signed on behalf of the family by the Wenewei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, High Chief Matthew Pudie.

According to the burial arrangement, a social wake-keep ceremony will hold on Wednesday, February 26, in honour of the late Mama Maku Ojo Pudie, with music to be supplied by Prince Smally and his live band.

The remains of Mama will be finally laid to eternal rest in the early hours of Thursday, February 27.

The late Mama Maku Ojo Pudie who passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the age of 104 years, is survived by children, grandchildren , great grandchildren and other relatives. 

"Mama will be greatly missed by all who knew her during her lifetime" the family said, and added, “We invite the public to join us to celebrate the life of Mama and to pay our last respect.”

May her golden soul rest in perfect peace.
