CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Chief Francis Satu Set To Bury Father In-law Dec. 22, Invites General Public

A prominent chief, the Tonkepa of Ogulagha Kingdom in the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Francis Odibo-Satu, is set to join other family members to give his late father in-law, the Rev. Dr. Johnson Odeh Ozore (JP), a befitting burial on Friday, 22 December 2023, at Irri in Delta State.

The Tonkepa made this known in a burial notice the prominent chief made available to PENGlobal Community and was signed by the trio of Pst. Duke Ozore, Mr. Benjamin Ozore and Pst. Sheyi Adelekun for the family, children and the church, respectively.

Chief Satu who described his late father in-law as a man and a father beyond what words could describe, extend an invitation to everyone to "join me and my beloved family in this moment of grief to pay our last respect to a great man and a wonderful iconic father." 

According to the schedule, the funeral ceremony will begin 4:00pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 with a Commendation Service conducted by the Passion for the Lost and Captive Ministry (PLCM) at Arutola Street, off Giwa-Amu Street, off Airport Road in Warri.

Thereafter, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, a Service of Songs ceremony will hold 4:00pm at the compound of the Late Rev. Dr. Johnson Odeh Ozore (JP) in Irri community, Isoko South LGA.

On Friday, December 22, 2023, at 10:00am an internment ceremony for the remains of the Late Rev. Dr. Johnson Odeh Ozore (JP) will take place at the Irri Primary School Field in Irri community.

Finally, a Thanksgiving Service will hold 8:45am on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at the Bethesda Gospel Mission, Irri community church that is situated at No. 7 Bethesda Avenue in Irri community.

The Late Rev. Dr. Johnson Odeh Ozore (JP), who hails from the Ozore lineage in Irri community, Isoko South LGA of the state, is described as a Legend and a Role Model. He slept in the Lord on August 22, 2023 at the age of 84 years. May his golden soul sleep peacefully on in the Bosom of the Lord, Amen.
