BURIAL/26TH COMMEMORATION: Okerenkoko Stands Still For Late Mama Temile Dude Nee Oturubo

After departure a year more, after two and a half decades, the late Mama Temile Dude nee Oturubo, mother of youth leader Mr. Naiye Dude, was honoured with a burial rite in commemoration of the golden mother of seven, who passed away at the age of 63 years.

The ceremony featured musical entertainment and other social activities at the Bibopere Zion in Okerenkoko Federated Community, venue of the event, which took place on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

According to her biography, the late Mama Temile was born in 1935 into the family of late Mr. and Mrs. Oturubo Oluba from Okerenkoko Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State. She was the first child.

The late Mama Temile who got married to late Efekemi Tebela from Oporoza Community and Igoba Community, both  in Gbaramatu Kingdom, a union that produced four children, later got married after her husband's demise to the younger brother, late Mr. Zimpamode Dude, in a union that produced three children before she passed away.

Described as a very hardworking woman, the late Mama Temile was into various kinds of business to fend for herself and her children. She engaged in the local gin business called Ogogoro.

She was also a very caring woman who loved to shoulder the challenges of other relatives and associates, more than her own challenges.

Paying their tributes, the children described her as a lover of children and helper to many people, while praying for her soul to keep resting in the Bosom of the Lord until the day of resurrection.
