The Chairman, Board of Trustees, OKOEA Host Communities Development Trust (HCDT), Jones Creek Field Operations NEPL OML 42, Hon. (Amb.) Monday Akpoapaye Mieyefa, has hailed a former chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Hon. George Ekpemupolo, over what he describes as "his high state of humility and nondiscriminatory tendency".

The HCDT chairman, who hails from Okerenkoko Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, gave the commendation in a congratulatory message to Hon. Ekpemupolo whose birthday was marked on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Amb. Mieyefa also praised the celebrant for his creativity and bold decisions by diversifying from politics into the construction industry and energy sector through the establishment of Geecoms Integrated Services Limited, and Osenage Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited.

He said, "I congratulate my dear brother from Okerenkoko Federated Community and former chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council on the special occasion of his birthday.

"The celebrant whom I have known for years has not disappointed or lived below expectations. In fact, he has surpassed them.

"His determination to prove his worth can be seen in his diversification from politics (though still a politician) into non-political and more productive ventures as Chairman/CEO of Geecoms Integrated Services Limited and MD of Osenage Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, thereby creating jobs and using his influence as an humanitarian to raise the needy in society," he added.

He tasked other leaders to embrace the lifestyle of the celebrant, who, despite his status as a successful public figure, has a simple disposition, very accommodating and ready to give a listening ear to his audience whenever his attention is needed.

"Hon. George Ekpemupolo will not strike you as a man of great standing if privilege to meet him, because of his state of humbleness, never judging people by their background or discriminating against them.

"His exemplary lifestyle is worthy of emulation and it is my call on other leaders of means to follow in his footsteps," he stressed.
