BIOGRAPHY: Tears as Late Mrs. Felicia Yerimini Governor Goes Home To Rest
The passing of late Mrs. Felicia Yerimini Jonathan Governor to eternal glory on Thursday, October 23, 2025, after a brief illness, was a jolt upon her families and friends, who still grapple with disbelief, even as they throng the Safe Haven Mortuary at Okumagba Avenue in Warri to convey her body to her hometown, Azama community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, for the final funeral rite, on Thursday, October 6, 2025.
Below is the biography of the late mother of seven children and three grand children who was 55 years old at the time of her passing.

"Mrs. Felicia Yerimini Jonathan Governor was born on February 13, 1970, into the family of Mr. Moses Agbalagba of Ekpe Quarters in Azama Community, and Mrs. Ikiolagha Urowiyinor of Okiri Idumu Quarters of Okerenkoko Town, both of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
"From a tender age, Felicia was known for her cheerful spirit, humility, and strong sense. She began her educational journey at Ebiabo Primary School in Kokodiagbene Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom. Her formative years were shaped by discipline, hard work, and compassion.
"In 1986, she met Mr. Emmanuel Vote Okpaghoro, with whom she was blessed with four (4) children and got separated—Toju Itsero, Weyinmi Itsero, Misan Itsero, Jolomi Itsero.

"Later in 1999, she moved to Okerenkoko where she met Chief Jonathan Tukutu Governor, and their union was further blessed with three (3) children—Tare Governor, Success Governor, and Ebimor Governor.
"Mrs. Felicia Yerimini Jonathan Governor was a woman of exceptional character—loving, kind-hearted, humble, and caring. She had a nurturing spirit and treated everyone around her with genuine affection and motherly. She was also a great cook, known for her delicious meals that brought family and friends together. Her kitchen was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of her wonderful dishes. Felicia was equally a very neat and organized woman, maintaining her home with elegance and pride. Cleanliness and orderliness were part of her daily life, reflecting her inner beauty and discipline.
"Beyond her home, she was hardworking and industrious, constantly engaging in productive ventures to support her family. She was also an active and dedicated member of the Warri Beke Social Group and the Fruit of Life Prayer and Deliverance Ministry of All Nation, where she was loved and admired for her positive spirit and generosity.

"Felicia's life was a shining example of love, strength and faith. She touched countless lives with her kindness, cheerful personality and selflessness. Her memory continues to live on through her children, family, friends and all who were privileged to know her. Her life story remains an inspiration, reminding us all of the beauty of a life when lived in service, love and humility.
