The late Donatus Akpo Ukuli Esq., a legal practitioner who was recently laid to rest in his hometown Kokodiagbene in Gbaramatu Kingdom, has been described by one of his brothers, Mr. Gabriel Ukuli, as a personality who did not just came to exist in life, but was able to distinguish himself by his many accomplishments.

Mr. Gabriel was responding to the presentation of a posthumous certificate of recognition on the late lawyer by the business and social brand promotional agency, PENGlobal, through its Brand Director, Mr. Abai Francis, on Friday, July 7, 2023 in Opete, Udu, Delta State.

The posthumous certificate of recognition and a copy of The PENGlobal Watch magazine recently launched in Warri was received by the wife of the late legal practitioner, Mrs. Lilian Ukuli.

Speaking on behalf of the family of Donatus Ukuli Esq., Mr. Gabriel said the family appreciated the honour bestowed on their late brother, an honour which he said was proof of the late lawyer's exploits during his lifetime.

"Good things are written on sand, while bad things on brass," said Mr. Gabriel in his response to the posthumous certificate. "You know, something written on sand can easily be wiped, but those on brass last longer," he explained further, an indication that the world are quick on condemning than in appreciating someone's achievements.

"The young man in all sincerity meant a lot to me. Looking at his pedigree, achievements, where he comes from, how he fought hard, where he got to. I am particularly proud of him. This has further shown that, he didn't just exist, he lives his life. He didn't just come to exist on the Earth, he distinguished himself. This has further proven it," he said in reference to the certificate of recognition.

Mr. Gabriel, who also received a copy of The PENGlobal Watch magazine on behalf of his twin brother, Pastor Samuel Ukuli, thanked PENGlobal for the honour and pledged their continued partnership with the promotional brand.

Recall that the late Donatus Ukuli Esq. passed away at the age of 41 years on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from a brief illness and was buried on Saturday, June 24, 2023 in Kokodiagbene after a service of songs ceremony that held on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
