The Comr. Zikurebai Oyinkuro Wazo-led Gbaramatu Kingdom chapter of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has expressed its gratitude to the traditional ruler and Pere, His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba; stakeholders and the general public for the success and the massive attendance at the Amaseikumor Festival in Oporoza Town on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

The IYC expressed its gratitude in a goodwill note titled 'Appreciation message to Ijaw Nation and Nigerian for gracing the 2024 Amaseikumor Festival' by its chairman Comr. Zikurebai, and that was made available to PENGlobal Community on Friday.

The message reads in part: "Comr. Oyinkuro Wazo Zikurebai, IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom Chairman, expresses his gratitude message to all; to the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe Agadagba; High Chief. Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, the Ibe Ebidouwei of izon Nation; Gbaramatu Traditional councils of Chiefs.

"Also, to the Amaseikumor planning committee ably led by High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi; all 37 traditional rulers across the country including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi CFR; 9 Senators representing various senatorial districts across Nigeria; the Minister of Aviation and Aero Space, and the Minister of Petroleum for State.

"To the Governor of Delta State ably represented by Solomon Ighrakpata, the three House of Assembly Speakers representing three States across Nigeria; five House of Representatives members across Nigeria; all Commissioners across Nigeria; all Pastors and clergymen, 186 Business moguls, the INC President and his entourage; IYC President and his entourage; IYC Spokesman, all Kariwei and all other dignitaries present.

"To the Niger Delta Students union president and his entourage, NUIS president and his entourage, NADIS president and his entourage, NAGS president and his entourage. Team Delta and Team Bayelsa wrestlers, football competitor across eight kingdoms, GYC president and his entire executives for their tireless service; all security personnel, and all media outlets.

"With a heart full of gratitude i, Comr. Oyinkuro Wazo Zikurebai, Chairman, IYC Gbaramatu Kingdom, and my executive, sincerely appreciate the general public for gracing the 2024 Amaseikumor Festival with their esteem presence.

"And I pray the Almighty God takes us all back home safely. And the blessings that comes with Amaseikumor shall locate each and everyone of us as we resume activities in our various endeavors.

"We are using this avenue to call on Agencies, State Government and Federal Government for their support and partnerships in the 2025 edition of Amaseikumor Festival.
