AMA-FINIDE UGE FESTIVAL 2026: Opuedebubor's Message of Gratitude on Successful Celebration
To God Almighty be all the glory, the Ama Finide Uge Festival celebrated in Opuedebubor Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, was a huge success.
We appreciate the Creator foremost for the conducive atmosphere, the safe passage and protection over our guests and all those that were in attendance, and for the enabling provision of resources that made possible the celebration.
We express our profound gratitude to His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom for his sacrifices, prayers and engagements for the unity, love and prosperity in the kingdom. May His Majesty continue to live long and experience peace throughout his reign.
The people of Opuedebubor are eternally grateful to our leaders in the kingdom for their vision and resolve to transform the kingdom, and to collectively promote unity and love among the people, as demonstrated in the various activities in the yuletide and New Year.
On that note we thank the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) and the Ibe Ebidouwei of Izon Nation, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo; the Chairman of Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, Mr. Matthew Tonlagha; the Managing Director of TSSNL, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, FNSE; Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor; Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, High Chief (Dr.) Dennis Brutu Otuaro.
We are also grateful to the General Manager, Operations, TSSNL, Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi; former chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Hon. Worthy of commendation is the Planning Committee chaired by Hon. Braye Frederick, and secretary, Hon. Mike Itima, for their astounding coordination in ensuring the ceremony went accordingly as planned. Likewise, every other person that made significant contributions including the various women groups, we are grateful for your support.
May the Almighty God bless everyone of you for your tireless efforts and for your presence during the celebration. We pray for His grace and protection in this New Year and that we will all gather together again in the spirit of love, unity and rejoicing.
