The Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation, EBF, a nongovernmental organisation in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria is set to mark its fifth year anniversary with free giveaway of learning materials to students and wrappers for widows, among other items, on Monday, March 10, 2025.

This is according to the EBF founder, Dcn. Ernest Bebenimibo, in an official statement released ahead of the anniversary to be marked in his hometown, Okerenkoko Federated community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, tagged, "Five Years of Transforming Lives: Celebrating Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation Anniversary."

Dcn. Ernest, who stated that the EBF since its inception has been at the forefront of driving positive change for students in the riverine communities and improving lives of the less privilege in society, also acknowledged the roles played for partners and volunteers towards its success.

The full statement reads, "Dear friends, supporters, and partners, on the 10th of March 2025, we will mark a significant milestone in the journey of the ERNEST BEBENIMIBO FOUNDATION as we celebrate our fifth anniversary.

"Over the past five years, we have worked tirelessly to drive positive change and improve the lives of the children in the riverine communities, widows, orphans and the less privilege across Niger Delta and Nigeria as a nation.

"Since our inception, we have remained committed to our mission through various programs and initiatives. Our work has been made possible by the dedication and hard work of our team, volunteers, and partners all over the globe.

"Join us as we celebrate this milestone in the Okerenkoko Federated community on the 10th of March 2025 at Okerenkoko Primary School Field, where we shall give out: 5,000 notebooks, 500 school bags, mathematical sets and writing materials to the students of the Okerenkoko Primary and Secondary schools.

"Also we shall be giving out 100 pieces of wrappers to the widows and the aged women of Okerenkoko Federated community.

"Together, we can create a brighter future for all. Thank you for your support," the statement concludes.
