55TH CONFERENCE: Dawn of a New Beginning as Bibopere Zion Give Thanks, Preaches Peace

Christian faithfuls of Okerenkoko Federated Community and other communities in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, as well as believers all over the world, have been urged to forget the former things and to set their minds toward the new things the Almighty God is about to unfold in their lives.
The call was made by the Minister-in-Charge of Bibopere Zion Church Ministry, Snr. Boan. (Amb.) P.E. German (JP) at the recently concluded 55th Annual Conference whose grand finale held in the church auditorium on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
This year’s gathering drew members of the Zionist community and believers from various backgrounds across the country notable among them are His Holiness, Rev. Dr. Princewill Epistle Jemine (JP), the Mienkirigbolomowei II, General Overseer C&S Church of Zion Worldwide, Bolowou National Headquarters, Ondo State; Archbishop Irawo Joseph (JP), the Founder of Zion Land of Canaan Ministry Warri; Snr. Boan. Columbus D. Oluba, the Minister-in-Charge of Restoration Zion Ministry.
The week-long Conference which began from Monday, October 13th to Sunday, October 19th, 2025, culminated in a special Sunday Thanksgiving Service with transformative messages centered on restoration, faith revival, and embracing God's fresh mercies by the King of Zion as a Special Guest.
The grand finale also featured first and second Bible lessons taken from Isaiah 43:18-21 and Revelation 21:1-7 as read by Deaconess Tombra Williams and Evangelist Marvelous Lucky, respectively. The Conference also featured intense worship, heartfelt prayers, scriptural teachings, and fellowship aimed at spiritual renewal and divine direction. Other activities include children Bible recitation, Cherubim Parade, presentation of gifts by the Bibopere Zion Women group to some of the ministers in appreciation of their spiritual leadership.
Speaking on the essence of the Conference, the Minister-in-Charge of Bibopere Zion, Snr. Boan. German revealed that it is anchored on the church's covenant with the Almighty God, which has been in practice over the years with this year's Conference making it the 55th year.
He said, "The essence of the programme arises from a yearly covenant with God, 55 years ago, when the church retraced its step back to St. Isaiah Oritselaju Jemine, the second King of Zion. Ever since we've been having this national Conference.
"Today (October 19th 2025) makes it exactly 55 years ago. So, every year, the Church comes together, invites men of God, especially the head of St. I. O. Jemini church to celebrate with us. And the theme of 'New Beginning' for the Conference is spiritually drawn from Isaiah 43 verses 18–21 as unveiled during our Crossover Service," the Minister added.
On the essence of the Conference on believers and in the Gbaramatu Kingdom, he said, "Everyone should expect New Beginning in every aspect of their lives. No matter the achievement you have so far, expect new ones—new beginning in every area of our lives; new beginning in our spiritual lives, in our academics, in our businesses, in our destinies, in our marital life, in every area."
The Minister also called on God's faithful children to embrace peace and for all to also accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, stressing on the importance for God's children to live and coexist peacefully with all men as a show and demonstration of the love of God in them.
Snr. Boan. German added that the church remains grateful to God for His grace throughout the event and extends appreciation to Mr. Matthew Tonlagha, Hon. George Ekpemupolo, Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi and all members of the C&S churches for their support.
While the 55th Annual Conference may have ended, however, for the Christian community and members of Bibopere Zion Ministry, alongside other believers, it is the beginning of yet another new era, another new dawn with faith in God to receive the new things He has already begun to do in their lives.
