The 27th edition of the Ijaw Day of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving which held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Chief Tunde Smooth playground near NPA, Warri, with the theme: 'Divine Turnaround', has come and gone but the clock has not stopped ticking as the countdown begins toward another century.

"2024, I see it through 3024. In a hundred years the Ijaw Nation would have globalised the whole world," prophesied the fiery guest preacher, Commanding ArchBishop Winning Willy Bunting of the Apostolic Army Worldwide, during his sermon at the prayer, praise and thanksgiving programme organised by the Delta State Chapter of the Ijaw Christian Fellowship (ICF) Interdenominational, under the leadership of Rev. Anthony Burutu.

Not a man unknown for prophecy, the Commanding Archbishop who is also known as the 21st century war marshall had years ago prophesied that Hon. Duoye Diri was going to take over the governorship of Bayelsa State from the then incumbent governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson.

Also, according to the National Publicity Secretary of the ICF, Bishop Godwyns Soroaye (JP), while introducing the fiery preacher to the podium, said: "About nine, 10 years ago the Archbishop came to Warri when we had our Ijaw Day and he made some prophetic declaration about Izon Nation and about Nigeria; that Nigeria was going to have an Ijaw man as President. He also prophesied that we were going to have several ministers. He made these prophetic declarations at the BB Hotel. Ladies and gentlemen, these prophetic declarations came to pass and today by the special grace of God we have decided to bring him back, and to perhaps make some prophetic declarations that will move Ijaw Nation for a divine turnaround," he revealed.

In his charismatic and of course, his comic manner put up as a strategy to capture his audience attention, the 21st century war marshall did keep his audience spellbound as he energised the atmosphere with his entertaining style of preaching but always striking the cord of seriousness in pushing his message through.

"I bring a message for the distinguished, unique, royal, radically royal..." the Commanding Archbishop charged at his audience. "The Almighty God who made me His messenger said they are separated, they are distinguished, they are peculiar, they are astounding, they are first class, they are super peculiar. You want to know a race that is superior, you want to know a people that have superior DNA? The Izon man has a super root! Have you heard a prophet give you a 100 years prophecy? It is only an Izon man. Ijaw, there are no two of your kind," he boldly proclaimed.

According to the 21st century war marshall, by 3024, the narrative would have been changed in favour of the Ijaw Nation, just as he made a call on the Ijaw Nation to stand by its name, to worship the Supreme God Almighty, to embrace education towards defeating ignorance.

"Don't you know the meaning of Izon. Only Izon can walk undefeated, unbeatable, unkillable, untouchable, uncompromising... The heritage of America is Izon. My super root, identity, potential, destiny is Izon. Izon means truth! Stop answering what God has not called you.

"The book of the Izon man is the Bible. Before you exit this Earth worship God. All the kings are ministers of God. Only truth sets free. No man is freer than the truth... There is a difference between knowing, believing, hearing and practicing. Practicing the truth sets free... Izon people don't tell lies. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the light."

The Commanding Archbishop who expressed his delight on the traditional rulers for honouring God with their presence reaffirmed the scripture "Where the word of a king is, there is power!" just as he decreed that the villages in the Ijaw Nation are richer than most modern day global cities as reservoirs of crude oil, but with the charge, "By 3024 the rules have been changed. Ijaw people go to school. I have four PhDs. Go to school. My people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge," he roared.

The programme was wrapped up with a Thanksgiving led by traditional rulers in attendance and with words of admonition from royal fathers led by the Chairman of the Delta State Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, HRM Elder Capt. Dr. King Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), Agbonu, Torububou 1, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom.

Now that the prophetic declaration has been uttered and the Ijaw Nation's journey to the next century begins, it is only imperative that the Ijaws need to reflect their calling in tandem with the name God has called them by being truthful, to embrace a knowledge for more awareness and self-empowerment, to fear and reference the Almighty God, and among others to unite as one nation with a common blueprint. With all its human and natural resources at its disposal and possession, the Ijaw Nation can rule the world.
