2027: Tonfawei Backs Tompolo's PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori, Guwor for Re-Election
A member of the Oporoza Youth All Progressives' Congress (APC) House in Oporoza Community, Comrade Tonfawei Ebibode, has thrown his weight behind the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027, an initiative founded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, to mobilize grassroots support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the 2027 general elections.
Tonfawei also declared his support for the reelection of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the member representing the Warri South-West Constituency in the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, saying "continuity in leadership would consolidate the achievements of the President's Renewed Hope Agenda and that of the State's MORE Agenda."
In a statement made available to journalists, Tonfawei described the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as a strategic grassroots mobilisation platform designed to strengthen public participation and expand support for the APC ahead of the 2027 polls.
He commended Tompolo for what he described as his unwavering commitment to peace, stability, and national development, noting that the movement would further deepen political awareness and encourage citizens to participate actively in the democratic process.
According to Tonfawei, the administration of President Tinubu has initiated reforms across key sectors, including the economy, infrastructure, security, youth development, and the oil and gas industry in the Niger Delta region, which he said are gradually laying the foundation for sustainable national growth.
He stressed that the Niger Delta has continued to benefit from improved peace and stability, adding that sustaining the current administration would enable the country to consolidate the gains already recorded under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The member of the APC also applauded Governor Oborevwori for what he described as impressive developmental strides through the MORE Agenda, and the speaker, Rt. Hon. Guwor, for his excellent leadership strides, citing the State's investments in infrastructure across riverine communities, and the provision of healthcare, education, youth empowerment, and inclusive governance across Delta State.
He maintained that the governor's developmental policies have strengthened peace and unity across the state, making his reelection necessary to sustain ongoing projects and deliver greater dividends of democracy to Deltans.
Tonfawei therefore called on the youths and people of Oporoza Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, others in the Warri South-West Constituency, the Ijaw Nation, Deltans, and Nigerians at large to embrace the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027 by actively participating in grassroots mobilisation and voter education ahead of the next general elections.
He expressed confidence that renewed support for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and Guwor would further advance national development and accelerate socio-economic progress across Nigeria and Delta State.
