18TH AMASUO-UGEH / NEW YEAR 2026: A Message of Gratitude From Kokodiagbene Community Exco
We, the Executive leadership of Kokodiagbene Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, led by its Chairman, Comrade Ark Selegha, on behalf of the chiefs, elders, women and youths of the oil-rich rich and peaceful community, use this medium to tender our profound gratitude on the success recorded at the 18th edition of the Amasuo-Ugeh Festival and the dawn of another New Year.
First, we thank the Creator of the Universe, the Almighty God, for the success recorded at the 18th edition of the annual festival including other ceremonies that held in the kingdom, and for ushering us into another new dawn (2026) in peace with expectations of more prosperity and achievements in the New Year.
Secondly, we are grateful to our revered traditional father and Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, for his spiritual support, counsels, and tireless efforts to sustaining the peace and unity towards the development and growth of the ancient kingdom. In same vein, we salute another notable traditional father, His Royal Majesty, Elder Capt. King Joseph Ijawperebo Timiyan JP Ph.D, Torububou 1, Agbonu, the Ebenanaowei of the ancient Ogulagha Kingdom in the Burutu LGA, for his uncountable support and prayers. Your Majesties, may your reign continue to be peaceful and prosperous.
Thirdly, we thank every individual and organisations who made financial contributions toward the successful hosting of the 18th Amasuo-Ugeh Festival celebration. May the Almighty God replenish your pockets and increase your source of riches and wealth.

Lastly, we thank the Planning Committee of the 18th Amasuo-Ugeh Festival lrd by Double Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan JP, for their smooth planning and excellent coordination, marking the festival as one of the best programmes in the history of the community. May God Almighty continue to increase you all in wisdom and strength.
It is our prayers that the Almighty God in His mercies and grace bless us in this New Year with increases all around as well as place us all under the umbrella of His protection in this New Year and beyond in Jesus name, Amen.
